Doug Frederick senior vice president
Dr. Doug Frederick is a Senior Vice President and advisor to GreenVest.
Dr. Frederick has specialized in wetlands management, forest ecosystem analysis and wetland wastewater research for 30 years. He has conducted many environmental assessments in forest and wetland systems and has particular expertise in evaluating the functions and processes of wetland systems. He has extensive experience in mine reclamation and forested wetland mitigation, forestry investment analysis and expert testimony involving forest land management conflicts. His current efforts involve forested wetland mitigation research monitoring hydrological and nutrient budgets for land application of waste systems and designing constructed wetlands to treat various types of municipal, agricultural and industrial wastes. Doug also serves as an instructor for the National Wetlands Science Training Cooperative. Dr. Frederick received his Bachelors degree in Forest Management and Masters in Silviculture from the University of West Virginia and his Ph.D. from the University of Idaho in Forest Ecology/Pathology.
Dr. Frederick is primarily responsible for the firms ecological services division and the development of wastewater treatment, wetland mitigation, and wetland mitigation banking projects. He is based in the North Carolina office.
