Doug Lashley President & CEO

Doug Lashley is President and CEO of GreenVest LLC. He has 35 years of experience in law, real estate finance, land use, redevelopment, and liquidation of distressed real estate. Mr. Lashley is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a BA in Business and received his JD from George Mason University. He lectures frequently on the beneficial aspects of ecological asset management strategies, including wetland, habitat, and carbon mitigation banking as well as creative ways to find value in environmentally impaired land. Mr. Lashley has taught courses in Environmental Economics as an Adjunct Professor at North Carolina State University. GreenVest and its predecessor, The Triangle Group have engaged in the development of conservation banks and brownfield projects the last 12 years and are currently working on mining reclaimation projects in several States throughout the country.

Mr. Lashley is responsible for developing acquisition strategies, handling regulatory negotiations, as well as assessing the financial feasibility of restoration and reclamation projects for GreenVest clients and GreenVest owned projects. He is based in the Annapolis, Maryland office.
