Maryland - Fresh Water Wetland Mitigation
Mitigation banking in Maryland has not thrived as with States where "in lieu" fees are discouraged in relation to the actual mitigation of an impact. The regulatory environment looks favorable in the years to come and GreenVest looks forward to being an active participant in that we are headquartered in the State. We have an interest in or are in the process of evaluating the feasibility of mitigation banks in Dorchestor, Garrett, Prince George’s, Kent, Queen Anne and Anne Arundel Counties.
