GreenVest (GV) seeks a dynamic, experienced, highly motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced Business Development (BD) team in one of our Maryland offices (Baltimore or Bowie). This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a strong technical background in design, permitting, and restoration project implementation to play a key role in identifying and developing meaningful ecological restoration, stormwater management, and other nature-based projects. The ideal candidate has educational background and direct experience in water resources engineering, restoration ecology, and/or landscape architecture including experience in design, permitting, budgeting, and/or implementation of ecological restoration projects, nature-based solutions, and/or stormwater management projects. In this role, the successful candidate will take the lead in developing BD opportunities. The successful candidate will work with the GV team of talented professionals and engineering partners to identify and analyze new opportunities, develop concept plans and the corresponding technical approach, develop project budgets and pricing, draft the technical scope of work narrative, and develop high-quality proposals from start to finish. This role also includes assembling, or helping to assemble, proposal development teams, drafting proposal and project schedules, drafting sub-consultant and/or contractor scopes of work, and soliciting sub-consultant and/or contractor proposals. This position plays a critical role in presenting GV’s capabilities, services, and outcomes to public and private sector clients, funding agencies, and partners.
The primary objective of this position is to support GV in developing and capturing new business targets and to maintain and grow the annual volume of business. This position reports to the Senior Vice President/Director of Business Development and works closely with GV’s BD, Land, Legal, and Operations Teams.
