Adam Ganser, PLA
Adam has worked in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry for more than 20 years in the field as a construction supervisor and in the office as a Landscape Architect, GIS & CAD Specialist, and Project Manager. For the last twelve years, he has focused primarily on ecological restoration and stormwater management design and implementation. He works fluidly between multiple scales, from broad-scale master planning to site design, with strong working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements on a range of project types. He is particularly skilled in the planning and design of Green Infrastructure (GI) in urban environments, especially along urban waterfronts. Adam is passionate about Chesapeake Bay Area ecosystems and strongly feels that the Bay is a voiceless key stakeholder in any local planning & design process.
Adam is fluent with the virtual, geospatial environment from both a technical and theoretical standpoint. He has worked with ArcGIS and Civil 3-D for twelve years and taught graduate level GIS and CAD courses while completing his MLA at Cornell University. He is also a skilled multi-media designer who works comfortably in 2-D and 3-D digital and analog environments. As GreenVest’s Director of Design & Planning, Adam applies his technical expertise, regulatory experience, and construction background to develop efficient and effective workflows to move projects through the proper channels expeditiously while maintaining top quality production at all project stages.
