Jenna Kovacs

Jenna graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Natural Resources: Applied Ecology, and the University of New Hampshire with a M.S. in Natural Resources: GIS & Remote Sensing.  She has over eight years’ experience in the environmental field, primarily among consulting firms prior to joining the GreenVest team.  She has broad range of background experience, including threatened and endangered species surveys, wetland delineation, restoration monitoring, ecological risk assessment and FEMA floodplain studies.  Her more recent focus has been utilizing GIS to support these types of efforts including desktop analyses for restoration feasibility studies and supporting small and large-scale field efforts by providing maps and data, post-processing, analysis, and technical report production.

Jenna is a GIS Specialist at GreenVest supporting GIS analysis and production and CAD related production and design.  These responsibilities include site restoration feasibility analysis, developing conceptual mitigation plans, supporting land acquisition, as well as providing cartographically insightful visual aids to support all aspects of GreenVest’s restoration and mitigation projects. She is based in our Maryland office.
