PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS – Maryland Stream Restoration Association; Trained in Applied Fluvial Geomorphology (Rosgen Level 1) and River Morphology and Applications (Rosgen Level 2)

EXPERIENCE – Laura has been working as an environmental scientist with a focus on water resource restoration and monitoring since 2011.  She has experience in many aspects of water resources that she brings to all aspects of GreenVest’s stream restoration projects including site assessment, restoration design, construction oversight, post-construction monitoring, data analysis, technical writing, and landowner coordination.  Additionally, Laura has extensive experience in environmental education and outreach with adults and youth. Laura received a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and a Master of Environmental Management with a concentration in Coastal Environmental Management from Duke University. Her masters project focused on bacterial impairment of shellfish waters, the TMDL process, and alternative methods to improve water quality.  Laura is certified in Rosgen Levels 1 and 2.
