The 25-acre LBMS restored an urban, intertidal marsh in 2 phases: turnkey wetland and riparian zone mitigation for the National Lead Site Sayreville Seaport, followed by State and Federal wetland and water resource mitigation. The projects improved tidal hydrology and threatened and endangered species habitat.
