Atlantic Coastal Mitigation Site

The ACMB is comprised of 54 acres of restored marsh that was added to the adjacent Absecon Wildlife Management Area upon completion. The coastal marsh system was impaired by decades of ditching and berming, as well as encroachment by urban development and colonization by invasive vegetation.
